6 Days Work 1 Day Rest!
This is a video by the late Jim Rohn
Not to put a damper on your day off but….is your time being spent wisely? If you have a goal that seems unattainable it means that the time currently being devoted to achieving that goal is out of whack.
If your not at your ideal body weight it means the time you spend eating “incorrectly” outweighs the time you spend eating “correctly”. If you spent 6 days a week following your diet and 1 day a week “cheating or resting” you would have the ideal body (or at least be well on your way).
If you spent 6 days a week working out and rested one day you would enjoy all the health benefits activity brings you.
If you spent 6 days a week working on clear and focused goals you would be successful at any endeavor you took on!
But in reality how is your time spent?
Thinking about eating healthy but not actually doing it…
Worrying about getting to the gym, after work, but never actually getting there…
Facebooking all day about where you wish you were but not actually putting in the work to get there…
Your results show the effects of where your time is spent so look around and see if your time should be spent differently this week. Watch this video by Jim Rohn and take this “extra” rest day as an opportunity to re-prioritze where your time is spent and improve your life!
