Ha! Take that p90x….

Ha!….Take that p90x….Who’s your daddy now?

If you know me, at all, you know I’m not the type to gloat but today I’m gloating just a little bit…(Insert picture of me doing a happy dance here).

89 days ago my sister Rose was in a jail cell… and as unhealthy as you would expect a pack a day smoking, starving to be thin, prescription drug abusing, 28 year old would be and yesterday she completed her first half marathon.

89 days from the bottom of the barrel to the top of the heap and here’s how she did it…..

She did what we told her to do…when we told her to do it….the way we told her to do it.

That’s where the credit I can take ends.  And that’s where all the credit we take from anyone who succeeds using one of our programs ends… All we can do is tell you what to do…and give you the formula for success everything else is entirely up to you.

She did exactly what we told her to do, when we told her to do it, the way we told her to do it.  Even when it hurt, even when it sucked and even when she hated us every step of the way and because she was able to find that discipline within herself and because she had a big enough “reason why” she did it.  She accomplished a goal that many people would have considered impossible.  She even crushed the time I thought she would finish in averaging a 13:30 pace for the entire 13.1 miles.

If your “reason why” is big enough, you can attain any goal…If you find that your goals remain elusive it means you haven’t made succeeding important enough to yourself.  You haven’t convinced the “elephant” that reaching your goal is in your best interest (read my blog entry titled Don’t piss off the elephant to find out about the importance of your “elephant”)

If you have a goal related to health and fitness….We have the formula for success….what are you waiting for?  Rose isn’t waiting anymore she decided she was worth it.

Congratulations Rose…I’ve never been more proud.

p.s. just a funny side note we were at Bubba Gump seafood restaurant the other day and Tony and I both cracked up over a sign we saw hanging on the wall…it read “When all else fails try doing what the Captain told you to do” (what a novel concept) :-)
